Guidance on Supporting Survivor Applications under the Yazidi Survivors Law<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

To support survivors of CRSV and ISIS crimes from the Yezidi, Christian, Turkmen, and Shabak communities, our team at Farida Global Organization (Farida e.V.) together with a group of survivors from Iraq, Germany, Canada, and Australia, has developed a comprehensive survivor-centric guide on how to best support survivor applications under the Iraqi Yazidi Survivors Law (YSL). This guidance is intended as a resource for policymakers, case workers, and other stakeholders who seek to facilitate survivor access to reparations under the YSL<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We at Farida Global, alongside our partners Taboo LLC<\/a> and the Free Yezidi Foundation<\/a> are excited to launch the updated version of the guide for NGOs supporting survivors through the Yazidi Survivors\u2019 Law (YSL)\u2014a landmark legal pathway for reparations in Iraq. This isn\u2019t just a manual. It\u2019s a survivor-informed roadmap built from the ground up with field experience, legal expertise, and the voices of those who have endured the unthinkable. Survivors have successfully accessed monthly financial support, land, education opportunities, and psychosocial care under the YSL. But many more\u2014in Iraq and in the diaspora\u2014are still waiting, still eligible, still in need of support to navigate this complex process. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
