We are honored to organize an official visit for Ms. Sarab Alias, Director General of the Iraqi General Directorate of Survivors’ Affairs (IDSA) to Germany in order to meet with the representatives of German government to discuss the case of the survivors and their needs.
During the first day of the visit, we had a fruitful and productive exchange with distinguished members of German parliament Mr. lucks, Ms. Türk-Nachbaur, and Mr. Heidt.
Through the coordination of Farida Global, the Director General had a series of meetings and discussions with relevant representatives from the German government in different states. The aim of these meetings was to discuss ways in which the government of Germany can support survivors with applications under Yazidi [female] Survivors Law (YSL) and other forms of support needed for survivors.
Farida Global as an NGO led by survivors, we are thankful for the participation of Mrs. Sana Ali Alneamat, Director of Survivors’ Affairs in our organization, to share her insights about the needs of survivors. In this meeting it was accompanied by the our Co-Executive Director.
